The Young Leaders UAE initiative is closely connected to Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschland (WJD), Germany’s largest network of young leaders and entrepreneurs under 40. As the local UAE chapter, we share the same values of responsibility, innovation, and personal development—while adapting the mission to the unique, fast-growing environment of the United Arab Emirates. Through this connection, members benefit from an international community, shared learning, and access to a global network of young professionals.

Connecting the Next Generation of Leaders in the UAE

The UAE is one of the world’s most dynamic business hubs. With fast-growing sectors, global companies, and countless opportunities in cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, young professionals here play a key role in shaping the future economy. Many are leading teams, building new ideas, managing projects, or driving innovation in their organizations. In fact, about 70% of people in the UAE are in their prime working years (25–54), reflecting a youthful workforce that is fueling this growth.

To support this new generation of talent, AHK UAE has launched the Wirtschaftsjunioren - Young Leaders UAE network. Our goal is simple: bring motivated young leaders together, create a platform for exchange, and offer opportunities to grow - personally and professionally.

Who Can Join?

Young leaders and emerging leaders, up to the age of 40, who work in or are connected to the UAE’s business community and who have any connection to Germany, whether professional, personal, cultural, or through interest, are invited to be part of the network.

Our Board

The Young Leaders UAE Board guides the development of the network, initiates activities, and brings the community together through events, projects, and new ideas. As representatives of our members, the Board ensures that the network grows in a meaningful, engaging, and inclusive way and reviews all incoming applications to maintain a strong and committed community.
