On Friday, 25 September 2026, members of Young Leaders UAE visited the DHL Middle East and Africa Innovation Center in Dubai South. One of only four DHL Innovation Centers worldwide, the center welcomes visitors by invitation only.
Recently expanded to cover 1,700 square metres across two floors, the center serves as DHL’s regional innovation hub. During an interactive tour, members explored how robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, advanced analytics and circularity are used to develop practical solutions for logistics and supply chain challenges.
The visit followed the official launch of the DHL Logistics Trend Radar 8.0 the day before. Young Leaders UAE was the first visiting group to receive an introduction to the new edition.
The group was accompanied by Marco Loritz, Deputy Consul General of Germany in Dubai. The visit offered an opportunity to introduce him to the Young Leaders UAE community. Members also shared their professional backgrounds, areas of work and ideas. Questions throughout the tour, along with conversations before and afterwards, connected the technologies on display with practical challenges in logistics and supply chains.
