In 2016, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) was established with the goal of addressing climate protection challenges in an economically viable way while safeguarding natural heritage.

In recent years, the UAE has intensified its efforts to promote environmental awareness among its citizens. Residents are encouraged to actively participate in ecological projects within the UAE, contributing to the environmental and conservation movement.

The AHK Sustainability Forum was established as a platform for our member companies and acts as a catalyst for innovations, technologies, and strategic partnerships aimed at advancing climate protection, environmental awareness and sustainability in the UAE.

Objectives and Scope of the Initiative:
