During IFAT 2026 in Munich, the AHK Oman Office, in partnership with German Water Partnership, successfully organized and accompanied a dedicated Omani delegation from the water sector to one of the world’s leading trade fairs for environmental technologies.
For the first time, representatives from Nama Water Services, Al Ansari Group, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, as well as several SMEs from Oman, participated in a comprehensive programme focused on innovation, sustainability, and international exchange within the water sector.
Over the course of four days, the delegation benefited from:
- More than 20 targeted B2B meetings
- Expert presentations and networking sessions
- Company and site visits, including Bentley Systems and a wastewater treatment plant in Unterföhring
- Insights into cutting-edge technologies, sustainable solutions, and future developments in water management
Beyond the business meetings and technical visits, the programme provided a valuable platform for strengthening collaboration and knowledge exchange between Oman and Germany, while creating new opportunities for future partnerships.
