On 20 January, the AHK Business Breakfast – Ras Al Khaimah Edition, in partnership with Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), brought together the business community at the Compass Co-Working Center in RAK.
Following opening remarks from RAKEZ, our CEO Dr. Martin Henkelmann, and H.E. Sybille Pfaff, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, the panel discussion “Made in RAK: Driving Industrial Growth and Innovation” featured Imad Kokash (KLUDI MEA), Paul Button (Knauf GCC), and Ian Hunt (RAKEZ), moderated by Aminta Beatrice Zettel.
The conversation focused on the opportunities for setting up manufacturing in Ras Al Khaimah, highlighting its strategic location, excellent infrastructure, and proximity to the port - key advantages for efficient supply chains. Panelists also emphasized the strong demand for German quality in the region and why German companies are well-positioned to meet these expectations.
The session concluded with a networking lunch, providing further opportunities for dialogue and relationship-building within the business community.
