Whether through B2B engagements at MEDICA 2025 in Düsseldorf, technical discussions at SEMICON Europa / productronica in Munich, or targeted company visits, the delegation gained valuable insights into technological developments, industrial networks, and innovative approaches crucial for future bilateral cooperation.
Two roundtables — in Düsseldorf, in cooperation with the IHK, and in Munich, hosted by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy — served as major highlights during the roadshow, offering companies from North Rhine–Westphalia and Bavaria targeted insights into Qatar’s economic dynamics and emerging business opportunities. These particularly focused on future-oriented sectors where German companies traditionally excel, including energy and decarbonization, healthcare and MedTech, digitalization and innovation, and other technology-driven industries.
The delegation returned to Doha with an expanded network and numerous new avenues for partnership. These outcomes now form a strong foundation for further deepening economic cooperation between Qatar and Germany — particularly in areas where Germany’s technological excellence aligns with Qatar’s ambitious economic transformation agenda.
