The German Industry and Commerce Office (AHK Representative Office) Qatar accompanied a high-level business delegation from Qatar Chamber, led by H.E. Sheikha Tamader Al Thani, during its visit to Germany on the sidelines of the German-Arab Business Forum in Berlin, organized by the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Ghorfa). The programme provided valuable opportunities to strengthen bilateral business relations and showcase German innovation, advanced manufacturing, and digital technologies.
A key highlight of the visit was the roundtable "Qatar and North Rhine-Westphalia: Connecting Markets and Creating Opportunities," co-organized by AHK Qatar, Qatar Chamber, and NRW.Global Business in Berlin. The event brought together business leaders and institutional representatives to explore new opportunities for trade, investment, and industrial cooperation between Qatar and one of Europe's strongest economic regions. Opening remarks by H.E. As Germany's largest state economy and a leading hub for industry, logistics, and innovation, North Rhine-Westphalia offers significant opportunities for Qatari businesses seeking international partnerships and market expansion.
The delegation also visited SAP's Experience Center in Berlin, where participants gained first-hand insights into artificial intelligence, autonomous enterprise solutions, and digital technologies shaping the future of business. At Siemens Energy's Gas Turbine Factory, delegates experienced Germany's engineering excellence and explored advanced technologies supporting efficient and sustainable energy systems.
