With the planned expansion of its LNG sector by 85% by 2030 and the diversification of its petrochemical industry, Qatar is set to become a major global player. This expansion opens opportunities for German SMEs across the entire value chain.
The delegation had the pleasure of meeting with the Industrial Committee of Qatar Chamber as well as Qatar Energy, where the German companies had the opportunity to present their innovative industrial solutions and discuss how these technologies can contribute to Qatar’s expansion goals under NV 2030.
A highlight of the trip was the visit to Qatar Aluminium Extrusion Company and GIZAZ, subsidiaries of Qatari industrial manufacturing companies. These state-of-the-art production facilities showcased the excellence of Qatari industry.
The trip was organized within the framework of the Market Entry Program, supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), which aims to assist innovative small and medium-sized German enterprises in finding new partnerships in markets outside Europe. The program was implemented by the AHK Representative Office in Qatar in cooperation with MENA Business.
