The initiative is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and organized by VDMA and MENA Business GmbH in cooperation with the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK).
We started the day with a comprehensive briefing on the political and economic landscape of the UAE, joined by H.E. Alexander Schönfelder, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the UAE. Insights from Karin Zangerl (German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK)) and Dr. Constantin Frank-Fahle (emltc.) complemented the discussion and set the stage for the program.
A Bilateral Industry Dialogue, organized in close cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together the delegation members and key local stakeholders, including representatives from Moei UAE, ADNOC Drilling, Borouge, ENOC, Emirates Development Bank (EDB) Bank, and others.
This was followed by a networking session with business partners from the local industry players. The delegation continued its program with site visits and meetings at ADNOC Group and EMSTEEL Group, gaining first-hand insights into Abu Dhabi’s industrial landscape.
