The German Industry and Commerce Office (AHK Representative Office) Qatar was pleased to support the successful organization of the EU–Qatar Dialogue on Safe and Resilient Food Trade, held in Doha on 22 June under the EU-GCC Economic Diversification II Project, implemented by DAI in partnership with AHK and ICCS.
The high-level dialogue brought together representatives from European institutions, Qatari authorities, industry leaders, and the private sector to strengthen cooperation on food security, sustainable agriculture, and resilient supply chains. The event was opened by H.E. Dr. Cristian Tudor, Ambassador of the European Union to the State of Qatar, who emphasized the importance of resilient food systems and highlighted the European Union and Qatar as natural partners in advancing food safety, food system resilience, and sustainable trade.
The dialogue reaffirmed the shared commitment of the European Union and Qatar to enhancing food security through international cooperation, innovation, and resilient trade relationships, while creating new opportunities for collaboration between European and Qatari stakeholders.
