The German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK) is proud to congratulate its longstanding Board Member, Sabine Krafzel Khourdaji, on being awarded the Federal Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
On behalf of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the award was presented by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the UAE, H.E. Alexander Schönfelder, together with the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, H.E. Sybille Pfaff.
The Federal Cross of the Order of Merit is the highest honour bestowed by the Federal Republic of Germany in recognition of outstanding service to society and the country.
Sabine Krafzel Khourdaji has been a committed member of the AHK Board for many years and has made a significant contribution to strengthening the German business community and German-Emirati relations. In particular, her longstanding commitment as Chairwoman of the AHK Business Women Forum has played an important role in creating a strong platform for women in business.
Through the AHK Business Women Forum, Sabine has been actively supporting dialogue, networking and exchange among female professionals and leaders from different industries. Her engagement has helped establish and further develop the Forum as an important part of the AHK community, bringing together women and men from the German and Emirati business landscape and encouraging greater visibility, exchange and collaboration.
