Professional Qualification for In-Company Trainers According to German Standards in the UAE
The success of vocational training for young talents depends largely on the quality of the trainers. With the AdA International Basic program, the German-Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK) offers companies in the United Arab Emirates, for the first time, the opportunity to qualify their employees according to the standards of the German vocational training system – practical, compact, and internationally recognized.
What is AdA International Basic?
AdA stands for “Ausbildung der Ausbilder” (Training of Trainers) and is a well-established qualification in the German vocational education system.
The international Basic version is specifically designed for professionals, team leaders, and in-house trainers who are responsible for guiding, instructing, or developing other employees within the company.
The program provides essential pedagogical, legal, organizational, and methodological skills needed to deliver effective in-company training. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the focus lies on practical application.
Course Content & Structure
The program spans 10 intensive training days (including examinations) and covers the following modules:
Module 1: Assessing Training Requirements and Planning the Training
- Overview of the dual training system
- Involvement of relevant stakeholders in the training process
Module 2: Preparing the Training
- Development of a training plan
- Definition of learning objectives, content, and training locations
Module 3: Conducting the Training
- Designing the probationary period
- Selecting suitable training methods (“toolbox”)
- Promoting social and personal skills
- Conflict resolution and performance assessment
Module 4: Completing the Training
- Ensuring learning success
- Preparing performance evaluations
Module 5: Examination & Certification
- Written exam (90 minutes): Case-based questions & multiple choice
- Practical exam (30 minutes): Conducting a training session & technical discussion
