German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce Celebrates a Milestone in Automotive Education

02/07/2024

The German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (UAE) is pleased to announce a significant achievement in the field of automotive education and training: the successful completion of the first B-Level accredited examination of the German Chamber for the Porsche Aftersales Vocational Education (PAVE) program in Dubai. This success was made possible through the collaboration between PAVE and the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce (GPCCI), ensuring the successful execution of this innovative pilot examination.

The PAVE program, known for its rigorous standards, offers a two-year Automotive Mechatronics training based on the renowned German model. Trainees undergo comprehensive on-the-job training (OJT) in the Philippines and Dubai, focusing on brand-specific content for Porsche and Audi. The culmination of this intensive training was a theoretical and practical examination held on April 26 and 27, 2024, at the world's largest Audi service center, with support from Al Nabooda Automobiles LLC. The examination consisted of 10 stations, equally divided between the two brands, to ensure a thorough assessment of the trainees' skills and knowledge.

This cross-country training and assessment approach exemplifies the commitment to high-quality vocational education, offering trainees the opportunity to start their education in the Philippines, complete their OJT in Dubai, and undergo their final assessment in Dubai. This seamless integration of training and assessment ensures that trainees are well-prepared for the unique challenges of their respective brands, maintaining consistently high-quality standards throughout their education.

The success of this milestone underscores PAVE's dedication to delivering top-tier skills training for technicians capable of competing globally. The commendable efforts of the four trainees who passed the examination are a testament to their commitment to excellence and the rigorous training they received. Their success reflects the high standards and quality of education provided by the PAVE program.

The German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce(UAE) and the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce (GPCCI) extend their sincere gratitude to all the examiners whose dedication and expertise were crucial to the success of the examination.

Additionally, heartfelt congratulations go to the Porsche Training and Recruitment Center Philippines (PTRC-PH) and the dedicated PAVE PTRC-PH Batch 9 trainees. This achievement not only propels the graduates into promising careers but also marks a significant step in aligning local vocational education with global standards.

The German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce remains firmly committed to fostering such collaborations and contributing to the growth and excellence of vocational education in the region. This milestone serves as a testament to the power of international collaboration in elevating educational standards and preparing the next generation of skilled automotive technicians.
