The famous AHK Oktoberfest took place on Friday, 20th of October in the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai. Around 800 guests celebrated in the Bavarian tent and enjoyed the delectable buffet with traditional Bavarian delicacies. Felix Neugart, CEO AHK, welcomed the guests. The traditional barrel-tapping ceremony was performed by Andreas Wegner, Deputy Consul General, supported by Laura Boehm and Arthur Timlin, representatives of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, who kindly sponsored the barrel this year. The popular Oktoberfest band ‘Die Kirchdorfer’ set the right festive mood with popular Bavarian party songs. The guests enjoyed free Wifi this year, provided by our partner Social-Wifi, and had great fun at the Multilem photo booth. The winners of some traditional Oktoberfest Games went home with great prizes from Grand Hyatt, H-Hotel, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Steigenberger.
