The German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK) turned 10 this year and celebrated this occasion on October 2nd, 2019 in Dubai. CEO Oliver Oehms welcomed around 300 prestigious guests and members in the wonderful ballroom of Jumeirah Mina A'Salam Hotel. The event was opened by H.E. Saeed A. J. Al Fahim, Chairman of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK) followed by Saaed Al Ghurair, Vice Chairman of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK), German Ambassador H.E. Peter Fischer, the new German Consul General H.E. Holger Mahnicke and Dr. Volker Treier, Chief Executive Foreign Trade & Member of the Executive Board Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK e.V.).
Oliver Oehms took the chance to honor and thank the Premium Partners of AHK; Henri Lange from Lufthansa, and Sabine & Mazen Khourdaji from GAAST Trading for their long term support and strong relationship. After a traditional ‘cake cutting ceremony’ the guests enjoyed a rich buffet - a mix of regional Arabic dishes and delicious German specialties.
