Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming a standard HR tool, covering areas such as candidate screening, contract drafting, performance analytics, and AI-assisted termination workflows. When implemented appropriately, AI can enhance efficiency; if deployed without adequate governance and safeguards, it may give rise to material legal and reputational exposure. As the UAE advances its National AI Strategy 2031 and its ambition to become a global AI hub, employers are now facing a new and evolving landscape of laws, governance standards, and compliance requirements relating to responsible AI use.
This employer-focused seminar covers the legal framework for using AI in recruiting, contract and HR documentation drafting, termination communications and decision-making, and AI-enabled performance monitoring. It concludes with practical guardrails on governance, transparency, discrimination risk, workplace monitoring boundaries, and data protection roles. Participants will leave with practical guidance, key risk indicators to watch for, and a checklist for implementing AI tools in a legally robust way.
