Janina Hasse-Mohsine, Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy Abu Dhabi, will provide a political perspective on the current regional situation, followed by an economic briefing from Dr. Maxime Clemenceau, Director – Economics & Sustainability Advisor at PwC Middle East.
The discussion will focus in particular on the UAE and Saudi Arabia, exploring current challenges, economic resilience and the outlook for the Gulf economies.
An opportunity for senior business leaders to exchange views, share experiences and discuss what the latest developments mean for companies operating in the region.
Maxime is a Director in the PwC Middle East’s Economics practice. Maxime is a PhD economist with 15 years of experience advising senior government and private sector stakeholders on complex economic, tax, and fiscal policies as well as regulatory and economic development matters across Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Maxime also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Lausanne where he published several scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals in the field of public finance management and supported Swiss local governments in managing their public finance.
