Rising costs, a slump in demand and blocked payments from Saudi Arabia tested UAE businesses in 2026 in ways few had planned for. Conditions have eased, but for how long is uncertain. In many cases, the crisis itself did less damage than the response to it: salaries were cut unilaterally, force majeure was invoked prematurely, payments were rerouted without documentation, and cost-cutting put businesses at risk.
This seminar reviews five areas: payments and liquidity, cost restructuring, HR, contracts and tax. For each, we look at what happened, how companies reacted, where it may went wrong and what to put in place now, so that next time you can act directly.
