For several days, we took a closer look at some of the big challenges facing the world’s economy. We discussed important questions like:
- How can we make global supply chains stronger and more reliable, so they can better handle unexpected problems?
- What do companies need to succeed in a world with lots of uncertainty and change?
- How can we use innovation and digital tools to help businesses stay competitive in a fast-moving market?
- What role can AHKs play in helping other countries grow more sustainably and prepare for the future?
The message was clear: no one has all the answers, but by sharing ideas, staying flexible, and working together, we can all do better. As AHK UAE, we were proud to bring our regional insights to the table, share what we’ve learned, and learn from our colleagues around the world. It was a great chance to exchange ideas, find common solutions, and remind ourselves that we are part of something bigger.
The conference was also a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and explore new ways to collaborate.
We’d like to say a big thank you to the DIHK and the whole team for putting together such a thoughtful and well-organized event. We leave Berlin feeling inspired, motivated, and ready to continue our mission: to be a reliable partner for German companies abroad, and to support them in navigating the challenges of a changing world.
