Hamburg's impressive harbor, the leading port of Germany and the third largest in Europe, is one of the city's biggest attractions, which can be easily explored by boat. Since its opening in early 2017, the Elbphilharmonie has become Hamburg’s new landmark as well as the leading tourist attraction in all of Germany. In the gush of the river Elbe, surrounded by three sides of the water, the spectacular building combines three concert halls, gastronomy, a hotel and the public plaza, which offers visitors a unique panorama view over the entire city.
