We were honored to welcome Dr. Jörg Kukies, the German Federal Minister of Finance, alongside a distinguished delegation from Germany's finance and energy sectors to Doha in the beginning of February. This visit marked a key milestone in reinforcing the already robust and expanding economic ties between Germany and Qatar, with a particular focus on the vital sectors of finance and energy.
In collaboration with the German Embassy a series of high-level meetings were conducted with leading Qatari organizations, including QatarEnergy, Qatar Investment Authority, Invest Qatar, and others. These meetings were instrumental in exploring new opportunities for bilateral cooperation and deepening our mutual understanding of Qatar’s dynamic economic environment.
The visit also included insightful roundtable discussions with long-standing partners, including the Qatari Businessmen Association. These exchanges provided invaluable perspectives on Qatar’s economic development and opened the door to new avenues for collaboration across. This visit reaffirms the commitment to further advancing the bilateral relationship between Germany and Qatar.
