The Countdown is on: One year to go until the German Pavilion in Dubai opens its doors
The German EXPO team marked the start of construction on CAMPUS GERMANY with a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony in April. Discussing how things have progressed since then, Commissioner General Dietmar Schmitz reports, “The project has been running smoothly. Construction is going exceedingly well and we’re right on schedule.” The content of the German Pavilion is also shaping up. Schmitz, who has been closely involved with the German presence at world exhibitions for many years, continues: “The exhibition design promises great things. CAMPUS GERMANY will be a fascinating and unforgettable experience for all our visitors. The exhibits are unique and their interactive character will create an entertaining visitor journey with a few surprises along the way.” Frankfurt-based agency VOSS+FISCHER is currently busy developing the cultural programme and selecting artists. Their “Culture Lab” will host a variety of dance, visual arts, games, science, sport and music sessions.
