This year, the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK) decided to share the special atmosphere of Ramadan with its members and friends in a particular way. Two separate Sohour Events, in Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai, were organized in the second half of August to celebrate the spirit of The Holy Month in a friendly, family-like ambiance. Both initiatives were welcomed very warmly by the expat community remained in the UAE during Ramadan, as well as by the Emirati members.

Following the success of the Ras Al Khaimah gathering, AHK moved to the amazing scenes of the Park Hyatt Hotel Dubai. In the private vibe of The Terrace restaurant, the guests seized a chance to polish their networking skills while enjoying traditional Ramadan delicacies prepared by the Restaurant Chef. The charm of the night was supplemented by the sound of traditional aoud.

The Dubai Sohour event was attended by a high number of prominent guests. In particular, participants had the honor to welcome H.H. Sheikha Dr. Hind Al Qassimi, Chairperson of Emirates Businesswomen Council and AHK Board Member.
